Responsibilities:
- Work with Marketing Director to create digital marketing plan for the 2nd biggest event at the UW.
- Write digital copy and schedule social media posts to reach maximum audience interaction (Fb and Ig).
Goals:
- Increase audience interactions on social media platforms.
- Increase reach of content posted on official Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Results:
- Increased event attendee stats increased by 28% from prior year
- Attracted 6000+ attendees to the event

Strategy:
- Maintain social media online presence with consistent posts and direct audience interactions.
- Used the #uwnightmarket2017 and #UWNM2017 hashtags and mentions of official social media accounts on all released content.
- Encouraged audience to post on Facebook and Instagram with hashtags and to tag UW Night Market accounts to increase link redirect potential.
- Hosted giveaways and shout-out opportunities on the official pages to further encourage audience to share and mention the event on their social media platforms.
- Track follower activity and schedule content release at specific time windows.
- Facebook page insights indicated highest audience interactions to be during specific times in the afternoons and evenings.
- All posts and pictures were scheduled to be released during the time windows 12pm - 2pm and 9pm - 11pm.
